Photos from Dayton, 30-03-2012

Where it all began; the World's first aircraft manufacturer.

And the world's first airport. Out there, in the trees. And the mist. Somewhere.....

Then on to the US Air Force Museum...... Full of US aircraft and stuff. Or so I presumed. But instead I found:

A Tornado. From Marham......

An F-111 Aardvark. From Lakenheath......

A Beaufighter. From Stockport......

An old Nissen hut, all the way from Saffron Walden......

and a pilot's clipboard of weather reports from.......well, see for yourself....

Not forgetting an old bit of wall from Germany

And a Mig-29. From Russia, with love......??

And lastly for this set, a few oddities....

A camera for Pete, that can see a golf ball from 45,000 feet.

And especially for Bethan, who I thought might like this one. A parachute. For dogs!

More, when I get a chance!
